Oslo Café in the heart of Addis Ababa.

In Addis Ababa you find Indian, Chinese, Italian, Armenian, Mexican and restaurants from all parts of the world. Among them, and dear to Norwegians in Ethiopia, is Oslo Café.

Situated at the shooping area called Piazza in the centre of the town it offers the best of bakery in Addis Ababa and attracts young Ethiopians enjoying the Addis Ababa cafè life, as the latest Ethiopia and international music is transmitted.
The street sign of Oslo Café is reflected inside the Café where the tables are O-shaped, other interior is O-shaped and waitresses wear headscarfes saying Oslo Café while Norwegian Trolls and other Norwegian items are to be found on the shelves; the walls decorated with pictures from Norwegian fjords and other landscapes.
Why Oslo Café? It is said that the owner is an Ethiopian living in Oslo; thus creating a good example of how Ethiopians in the diaspora can contribute to the developments in their home country.
