08/09/2008 :: Fra Universitetet i Oslo foreligger nå verdens første doktorgrad om koorete-språket, et nesten ukjent språk i Etiopia. Tallet på de som snakker koorete er på størrelse med befolkningen i Stavanger, drøyt 100.000. Med sin kartlegging av koorete, med særlig vekt på verbet, har den etiopiske doktorgradsstudenten Binyam Sisay Mendisu gjennomført et språklig nybrottsarbeid.
