Eva Joly, special advisor to the Norwegian Minister of Development and Director of NORAD on the fight against corruption, will be visiting Ethiopia starting 7 April.
Joly, a Norwegian-French citizen and a former prosecutor and magistrate in France, where she handled high profile corruption cases, is now strongly engaged in assisting the Norwegian government in its anti-corruption agenda.
In Ethiopia Joly will be meeting the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, the UN-Economic Commission for Africa, the African Union and hope to meet high level officials of the Government. The Embassy will revert with more information.
