Visa application procedure at the Embassy of Sweden
Due to an significant increase in applications for visas to Sweden and Norway, and limited resources, the Embassy has set the following rules for the procedure to hand in applications.
The first eight persons are guaranteed to hand in their applications on any given Tuesday or Friday. Any other applicants are tended to if the Embassy has the possibility to do so during that day. However, person number nine and onwards are running the risk of not having their application received, and therefore waiting in vain.
If the Embassy has started the procedure for an applicant on a previous day, but not been able to conclude the application process, this/these persons will be prioritized the following day that the Embassy holds open for visas.
