Team coach Fikru Molla was very happy with the team effort and by lifting the trophy again. The team also met running legend Haile Gebreselassie.

The 7th Ring Road Relay gathered a good number of Embassies yesterday; the US Embassy fielding four teams. The Norwegian Embassy participated for the third time, finishing 3rd two years ago and winning the Embassies class last year. Defending last year’s victory was on everyone’s mind and put pressure on team coach Fikru Molla’s selected 8th runners. The team, however got off to a good start and kept the momentum through the 8 kilometers finishing close to a minute ahead of the UK.
