Norwegian Minister Visits Schools in Ethiopia
Norwegian State Secretary for International Development Affairs Ingrid Fiskaa said her Country’s support to Ethiopia’s education sector through UNICEF is bearing fruit. The state Minister made the remark while visiting elementary schools contracted by UNICEF through the financial support of Norwegian government in Sebeta town of the Oromia regional state, 30km west of Addis Ababa. UNICEF is actively working to enable women get access to quality education and provide basic education service to children. UNICEF education project officer Kefyalew Ayano said his organization is providing education service to 2,720 children residing in Harar , Tigray and Oromia States.
