The Norwegian Embassy and residence has been located in the Makanissa area in the Southwestern part of Addis Abeba for more than ten years. In this period, a lot of road-construction has been going on. This has led to road-signs “making way” for machinery and equipment. Despite completion of the roads, some signs-like the Norwegian- are not back at their original spots, but “resting comfortably” where it has been convenient to put them. Add some tires, and you have a sign blending in.
