Addis Abeba: First taste of Africa for Norwegian students

Twenty students from Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication (GSJC) got their first taste of Africa in Addis Abeba, desitnation number 1 on their study trip to Ethiopia and Kenya.
Twenty students are ready for three weeks of business and pleasure in Eastern Africa. The journey is an offer for students in the last of their two years studying journalism and communication in Kristiansand, Norway. and Addis Abeba School of Journalism. The Entoto Mine Action Training Centre run by the Ethiopian Mine Action Office/Norwegian People’s Aid will also be visited. The group has been given an introdution to Ethiopia at the Norwegian Embassy.
GSJC (http://www.mediehogskolen.no/page.php?mtid=12&elid=9 ) has an international perspective on Journalism and Communication studies. The institution has been part of establishing media and communication studies in Ethiopia and Bolivia, as well as taking part in Norwegian Fredskorpset exchanges with Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
