Embassy in the media: Investment in Ethiopia encouraged

On 10 February Ambassador of Norway to Ethiopia Jens-Petter Kjemprud attended the 2010 Norwegian Business Aid Conference (NBK2010) and later addressed the Private Sector Development Programme’s Africa Network hosted by the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). NHO reports on their web page that ambassador Kjemprud encouraged Norwegian corporations to come up with ideas that can stimulate private industry growth, noting that local partners are possible to locate in many areas of business and further that the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Addis Ababa stands ready to provide the necessary logistical pointers for Norwegian companies who decide to venture in Ethiopia.
