Norway donates relocatable storing halls to UNICEF in Ethiopia.

Last updated: 16.02.2010 // Last year, two relocatable storing halls were given to Unicef in Ethiopia through the NOREPS programme. The halls are now fully operational.

The halls are 25x40 metres, and have been delivered by the company O.B.Wiik. This type of relocatable halls are better known as “Wiik Halls”. The company is part of the NOREPS Programme. NOREPS is a partnership between the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning, the Norwegian Red Cross, major Norwegian NGOs and selected Norwegian suppliers of relief goods. It responds to international emergency needs through a combination of standby personnel, ready-to-deploy stocks of relief goods and life-saving equipment, and excellent logistics.
