When Rahel Tafesse went from the Brazilian Embassy to work as the Norwegian Ambassador’s Secretary she expected to find Norwegians reserved and formal but was surprised to discover that her new colleges were friendly and welcoming – and often laugh out loud at work.

Meeting people with a smile, and happy to meet people. That is how Abnet likes her job, and it comes in handy since she is the first person people will meet when they visit the embassy.

The embassy continues growing: Mrs Gry Henriksen is the new immigration attaché and Ms Berit Flåthen is assisting the embassy as archivist in May and June.
